Your Role

As a Finance Intern, you'll support financial reporting by preparing statements, handle accounts payable and receivable, input and reconcile financial data, assist with budgeting and forecasting, support audit processes, conduct financial analysis, and assist with various ad hoc projects for the Accounting & Finance team.

Key Responsibility:

  • Assist in financial reporting: Support the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounts payable and receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts. Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Data entry and reconciliation: Input financial data into accounting systems accurately. Reconcile discrepancies in financial records and bank statements.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Analyze variances between actual and budgeted expenses.
  • Support audit processes: Prepare documentation and assist auditors during internal and external audits.
  • Financial analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Assist in identifying trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Ad hoc projects: Assist the Accounting & Finance team with various ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

About You

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus.
