Your role

As an HR Intern, you will be part of the HR Business Partnering team to support the day-to-day activities of the Human Resource function. You will also have the opportunity to take charge of key projects, delivering holistic solutions in elevating the experience of our employees throughout their life-cycle processes as well as supporting the implementation of the strategic people agenda.

You will be also accountable for the following roles:

• Supporting the logistics and execution of internal company events
• Curating effective internal email communications to deliver company initiatives
• Supporting the HRBP in the area of policy review to ensure up-to-date benefits and information
• Executing general HR customer service for internal clients.
• Supporting the HRBP in the execution of the Company’s employee cyclical plan
• Ideating and executing simplification of processes within the HR function
• Supporting any ad-hoc tasks within the team

Training & development

BAT has a learning and training program for employees, especially in leadership skills. It is not described in detail what the format of training provided for interns. However, as mentioned in Indeed reviews by some of the interns, good exposure and well-structured training are given to enhance your skill in the consumer goods industry.

Compensation & benefits

The employer stated that as a HR intern at BAT Malaysia, you will get MYR 1,500 per month or MYR 18,000 annually.
