Your role

As a Procurement Intern at BAT Malaysia, you will be accountable for the following roles:

• Vendor Data Analyst in assisting project execution improvement.
• Vendor Data Analysts within the team with several core activities that involve SAP data maintenance.
• Preparing and consolidating reports for daily/weekly/monthly activities.
• Applying problem-solving skills in assisting End Markets on vendor data maintenance for Global Directs and Global indirect suppliers.
• Assisting in identifying errors within data quality space and seeking resolution.

Training & development

About you

To apply for this position, you have to meet the following qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or other business-related fields.
• An active university student who is able to carry out an internship from September/October 2023.
• The internship duration is 6 months.
• Good Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
• A “can do” attitude and drive to learn and perform.
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Track record in other activities during studying, such as active participation in clubs, committees, projects/activities outside of academic space.
• Comfortable with numbers and data.
• Proactive and participative in group teamwork and discussions.
