Your role

As a Procurement Intern at BAT Malaysia, you will be accountable for the following responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Content Enablement Team in continuous improvement projects
• Assist Content Enablement Team with several core activities that involve data maintenance in Coupa – follow up with high-impact End Markets 
• Involvement in Data Management, Data Quality and Reporting
• In preparing and consolidating reports for daily/weekly/monthly activities
• Learning/Training Opportunities Related to the Procurement Process
• Troubleshooting, problem-solving and assisting end-market queries
• Provide training to the requisitioner and procurement team

Compensation & Benefits

For this Intern position, you will receive a monthly allowance of RM1,500. In addition, you will also receive non-material benefits such as:

About you

Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Accounting or other related field
• Good MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
• A “can do” attitude and drive to learn and perform
• Good interpersonal, communication skills and attention to detail
• Track record in other activities during studying, such as active participation in clubs, committees, projects/activities outside of academic space.
• Comfortable with numbers and data
