About the role
Responsible for supporting line managers to manage engaged, high-performing teams through coordinating activities and supporting the effective implementation of HR processes, procedures and tools across the region, The P&C graduate will be a key supplement to our AsPac P&C talent pipeline pool and will provide the partnering support to the entity and country teams in the region. The P&C Advisor will work in project and/or business squads supporting business priorities.
- Operate as flexible partnering resources that can shift focus based on agreed priorities Member of business and/or project squads as defined by the senior partnering Advisor/Managers.
- Handles people data, provides people reports/dashboards and insights to the business, and supports the meeting pre-reads preparation for the related people meetings/forums with the consolidated inputs as required.
- Delivers P&C partnering support or is a member of P&C project squads in support of P&C project delivery:
- Develops an understanding of the business being supported
- Advises on-site/location specific P&C related policies and processes
- Responds to employee concerns and queries as needed
- Provides people data insights in support of agreed priorities
- Supports delivery of agreed people priorities
- Receives day-to-day direction from relevant squad lead/project lead
- Supports employee engagement and Who We Are culture-related activities
- Supports BP PULSE actions plan implementation as relevant
- Is engaged in/provides any other P&C priorities as needed\
Requirements
- To apply to this role, you will preferably need a 3.2 CGPA and above, or equivalent in human resources,(or related fields is desirable)
- Strong analytical skills and logical thinking
- Good people and communication skills
- Excellent team player, ability to quickly build relationships across a broad spectrum of teams
- Thrives in ambiguity and can change direction based on insights
- Is curious and asks questions; has courage to bring in different thinking and is open to possibilities
- Focused on learning, gives and receives feedback, and invites differences of opinion
