About the roles

GBS Procurement is integral to building BP's distinctive capabilities and enhancing key processes. In order to achieve this, we collaborate closely with the wider business trading, shipping, and procurement teams across the globe to effectively build, segment, and manage trades and our third-party supply chains.

Contract Management activities that include both Contract Administration and Contract Operationalization to minimize contractual risk and ensure full compliance to Post Award Contract Ownership accountabilities

myProcurement is the BP global procurement support team, providing support to BP users and suppliers on their procurement queries. We want to make it easy for BP users and suppliers to navigate through the procurement processes and gain support when required, with the aim to improve the overall experience whilst ensuring interactions with the processes are efficient.

To achieve this, myProcurement provides a single digital gateway that intelligently pushes personalized and relevant information to the users, suppliers, and helpdesk teams, making it easy for them to self-serve or get help in one place.
You will work with a driven knowledge management team to continuously enhance self-help intuitive content for the operations team, BP users, and suppliers. You would also work with the communications specialist to craft compelling content in marketing the myProcurement service offerings and brand perception.

Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) is responsible for ensuring CDD operations are conducted in accordance with the requirements of the CDD practice in BP, including the requirement to observe all data privacy regulations and the need to maintain a systematic audit trail for all decisions and controlled document retention.

As the Global Business Services (GBS) organization continues to grow and accommodates more, it has the opportunity to deliver additional value in six core areas: 

  • Risk and control: Enhancing BP's business and system controls through improved governance and implementation of global process designs, systems templates, and control frameworks. 
  • Process effectiveness: Increasing cash and working capital delivery; improved process effectiveness and reliability through delivering an accurate outcome the first time. 
  • Process efficiency: Driving commonality of global processes and building these into standard templates to be incorporated into our ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems implementations and our continuous improvement activities across operational processes.
  • Quality service: Delivering enhanced customer services to the businesses we serve and BP customers, through our well-trained, professional people. 
  • Capability: Developing future leaders for the organization through talent management BP and career mapping and developing deep expertise in the domain of process.
  • Business Partnering: Establishing a business strong understanding and developing professional guidance to optimize and increase the business with our stakeholders and customer

Requirements

  • To apply to this role, you will preferably need a 3.2 CGPA and above, or equivalent. in supply chain, procurement, compliance, or related technical or business field
  • Perform contract management activities
  • Event administration including invite to bid, training, and supporting vendors
  • Screening suppliers and selection factors
  • Passion for creative content creation which encompasses drafting/modifying/publishing communications.
  • We value skills in producing/overseeing event-related digital media, training videos or event presentations, and creating feedback forms.
  • Enthusiastic in using data to drive better-informed decisions.
  • Must be open to learning/picking up new digital platforms and be digitally fluent.
  • Execute day-to-day procurement-related operational tasks to ensure delivery meets business expectations and is consistent with set process performance indicators, applicable service level expectations, and BP's core values. 
  • Analysis and reporting utilizing complex data sets, in support of procurement activity
  • Leverage understanding of specific processes/systems
  • Knowledge of general Counterparty Due Diligence and/or compliance-related matters
  • Conduct on-demand CDD screening for counterparties in accordance with the risk-based CDD process.
  • Instigate follow-up reviews at frequencies determined by the risk rating for the counterparties or agents
  • Knowledge of general procurement is an added advantage.
  • You will need to be in your final year of study or have 2 more years left.
  • Candidates that can join on 1st April 2025 for 3 month's internship only will be considered.
