The Summer Internship Program (SIP) is a curated program, tailored exclusively for Malaysian undergraduates from any degree program studying in Australia.

The SIP is open to aspiring graduates who not only seek to build an exceptional experience at KPMG but also possess a deep interest in working in the leading professional services firm across the Audit, Tax, Advisory, and Business Support functions.   With hands-on work and real client projects, our future Summer-Interns will quickly accelerate their technical, interpersonal, and social capabilities, which are critical for both professional development and success in the classroom, workplace, and beyond

In addition to hands-on training with real-world applications, the SIP provides dynamic strategic engagement opportunities, including insightful networking with KPMG’s leadership, stimulating business challenges, and meaningful volunteering activities. These experiences aim to broaden graduates’ perspectives and equip them to become the next generation of changemakers.

As a Summer Intern (Audit/Tax/Advisory), you are expected to :

  • Actively supporting the team with various project tasks
  • Assisting in maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Assisting in creating and presenting project deliverables
  • Posses good communication skills – verbal & written, dependable and proactive team member
  • Participating in the enhancement of your technical abilities and contributing to the team's overall expertise

Your responsibilities will vary depending on your educational background and the specific needs of the projects you undertake.

Requirements

  • Undergraduates who have completed their first two (2) years of Degree course in one any fields, with preferably a CGPA of 3.2 or Second Upper
  • Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Active in extra-curricular activities, with strong leadership qualities.
  • Applicants must be able to undergo an internship placement for a minimum duration of 12 weeks.
