Join KPMG Malaysia as an intern to develop software solutions and support the tech risk and cybersecurity team.

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Work with end-users and business analysts to understand software specifications.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs and investigating problem areas.
  • Prepare and install solutions by designing system specifications and standards.
  • Suggest technology solutions for various software applications.
  • Collaborate with the team to brainstorm on projects.
  • Work with senior software engineers to meet project objectives.
  • Maintain software functionality, performance, and security

About you

Ideal candidates should have:

  • Completed at least two years of a degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent, with a CGPA of 3.2 or Second Upper.
  • Knowledge of Scrum methodology is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with Git, PHP, Python, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, Microsoft SQL, and MongoDB is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Malaysian citizenship or relevant residence status.
