The Summer Internship Program (SIP) is a structured and premier career incubator catered exclusively for Malaysian undergraduates of any degree programs studying in the UK and Australia.

The SIP is open to aspiring students who not only seek to build an exceptional experience at KPMG but also possess a fiery passion to work in a leading professional services firm across the Audit, Tax, Advisory, and Business Support functions. The real-work and real-client experience provided by KPMG shall accelerate students’ technical, interpersonal as well as social capabilities that are critical to both professional development as well as success in the classroom, workplace, and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in project delivery as a team member
  • Support project manager or work-stream leader to achieve project KPIs
  • Support team in the development of sales presentations, data analysis, and research.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Economics / Business or equivalent
  • Graduate (with minimum grades – suggest average scores of 75% / Distinction etc.)
  • Knowledge in financial modeling and business valuation
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Good report writing and presentation skills - Good command of both written and spoken English
  • Good (preferably above average competency) in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Powerpoint
  • Strong team player with high initiative and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of infrastructure industry structures and trends is an added advantage - Basic programming capability (eg. VBA, C++) is an added advantage
  • Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is an added advantage
