Since its incorporation in 1994, OCBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad (“OCBC Malaysia”) has grown to become one of Malaysia’s largest foreign banks by most counts. Its Islamic banking subsidiary, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad (“OCBC Al-Amin”), was the first Singapore-based Islamic Bank established in Malaysia in 2008.

As part of the liberalization efforts of the Malaysia Government, locally incorporated foreign banks in Malaysia including OCBC Malaysia were granted licenses to open new branches in 2006. This allowed OCBC Malaysia to grow its total network size to 46 branches, comprising 33 conventional branches and 13 Islamic Banking branches as of 1 December 2018.

Your role

• Organize data collection and maintenance of databases 
• Interpret data, analyze results and assist in presenting findings or recommendations for decision making
• Prepare a report for regulatory and management 
• Support and work with other members of the team / within the organization locally / regionally on areas relating to data/reporting

Salary & benefits

OCBC knows that no two people are identical in their preferences. The flexible benefits plan allows you to select and tailor the optimal package for your unique desires. The salary for this role ranges from MYR 32,000 to MYR 36,000 per year.

About you

• Possess a recognized Degree in Business Studies/ Statistical or other related disciplines
• Strong in Microsoft Office such as Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of SAS would be an added advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and work independently
• Willing to take on new challenges and work in a fast-paced environment
