Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

  • Promote General Insurance products via telemarketing to bank customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries confidently and correspond through emails.
  • Liaise with internal departments and GEGM for policy fulfillment.
  • Achieve sales and cross-sell targets for all assigned insurance products.
  • Meet daily KPIs, including sales targets and call rates.
  • Complete all assigned leads within the stipulated timeline.
  • Manage sales calls, salvage cancellation cases, and participate in telemarketing campaigns.
  • Consider business and regulatory compliance risks, taking steps to mitigate them.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory compliance, and emerging threats.
  • Highlight potential risks and share best risk management practices.
  • Complete required product training and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with OCBC and GEGM guidelines, sales practices, and internal policies.

About you

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Diploma/Degree in any field.
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of experience in telesales or the General Insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, especially for Mandarin-speaking customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, phone skills, persuasiveness, patience, persistence, and keyboarding skills.
  • An aggressive, self-motivated, responsible attitude with a sense of urgency.
  • Organizational and systematic work habits.
  • A keen interest in learning and a positive work attitude.
  • High integrity, accountability, and a good attitude towards teamwork.
