Your role

Get to know the team

You will be a part of an energetic, cohesive, and fun team with a strong performance culture and people orientation within a respectful work environment. The Operations Team is responsible for maintaining a high standard of operational excellence in the city they manage. The team needs to be able to create quick wins and create long-term supply satisfaction to accelerate growth. 

The day-to-day activities

• Support campaign owners execute local tactical and strategic campaigns
• Shadow the team to write creative briefs for designers and deliver collaterals & communications
• Assist with the execution of on-ground study and survey
• Assist with ad-hoc campaign or activities launches
• To participate in any engagement activities carried on within the operation team
• Work closely with the city leads to ensure market insight of the current supply can be described.
• Assist with administrative tasks and any other duties delegated by the city leads.

Compensation & benefits

As an Intern at Grab Malaysia, you may get a stipend of MYR 12,000 annually or MYR 1,000 each month. (source:glassdoor.com).

About you

To apply for this role, you must:

• Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in any field.
• Open to students at all years of study.

It will also be better if you have the qualifications below:

• You should possess strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• You should be agile and able to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent time, presentation, and project management skills.
• Having a positive attitude and can-do spirit is critical.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin / Cantonese would be an advantage too!
• Basic knowledge of Excel (basic formulas such as SUM, IF, VLOOKUP, etc).Attentive to detail and accuracy.
• Critical and analytical thinking skills with a sound understanding of marketing principles and message positioning
• Willing to work on-site during the execution of on-ground study & survey.
• Must be based in Ipoh during the internship period
