Your role

As an Associate Platform Safety at Grab Malaysia, you will maintain the database for safety-related incidents and develop actionable insights based on observed trends/analysis. These insights will influence policies and processes to improve user safety.

Also, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-functional and country teams to execute projects around maintaining high standards of safety and quality for Grab users.

The Day-to-Day Activities

• You are responsible for entering, analyzing, and presenting data relating to Grab user safety incidents.
• You will also work cross-functionally and understand the country’s business objectives to provide customized safety advisory and solutions, with the ultimate goal of steering leadership and management teams along with the organization’s safety mission and principles.
• You will also support the team in the operationalization of new technology and product developments.

Compensation & benefits

Non senior roles in Analysis function ranges from MYR 36,000 to MYR 72,000 per year. (source:glassdoor.com). About you

To be eligible for applying to this role, you must have the following qualifications:

• Possess at least a quantitative Bachelor’s Degree
• Up to three (3) years of professional working experience in solid quantitative and analytics roles
• Fresh Graduates with similar background is welcome to apply
• You have Heart, Humility, Hunger, and Honour
• Highly adaptable across situations and industries
• Proven track record of conceiving, documenting and implementing new processes.
• You will work with large data sets to identify trends/recommendations and tell a story
• The ability to analyse and present data comprehensively and accurately, with the drive to execute on actionable findings.
• The flexibility to work cross-functionally, independently or virtually in a minimally structured and fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets is a MUST. This includes proficiency in tools to analyse large data sets (e.g. pivot tables). Knowledge of SQL, Tableau or other BI tools will be a plus
• “Go-getter” attitude and always willing to help other members of the team wherever needed
• Demonstrate strong interest and understanding of Grab’s business
