Your role

Get to know the role:

As a Technical Program Manager Intern at Grab, you will be part of complex, cross-functional programs, acting as a bridge between Engineering teams.

  • Your responsibilities include creating and maintaining the Delivery Roadmap, defining the way of driving these programs, and constantly improving this process.
  • You will also prepare project timelines, define milestones, track and report progress, and resolve impediments.
  • You will also get a chance to understand cloud technologies (AWS and Azure), work hands-on with Industry Project Management frameworks, and enhance your communication skills.
  • This role requires effective communication skills, a 'can do' attitude, and a willingness to not be constrained by your job description.

The day-to-day activities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve project plans, ensuring they align with company objectives.
  • Support the coordination of various teams to deliver complex projects.
  • Assist in managing projects and monitoring their progress.
  • Facilitate technical deep dives and troubleshooting sessions.
  • Help identify risks, plan mitigation, and manage dependencies within and across business units.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to leverage resources, expertise, and knowledge across project teams.
  • Participate in process improvements by suggesting and implementing best practices.

About you

The must-haves:

  • Basics of software project management.
  • Eagerness to solve problems and deliver.
  • Understand the Software development life cycle 
  • Good communication skills both written and oral. Good presentation skills
  • Good stakeholder management and cross-collaboration skills.
  • Having prior knowledge of project management tools such as jira. Confluence etc.. added benefit
  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar discipline.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Fundamental knowledge in software development lifecycle or relevant technology.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and capacity to adapt to changes.
