Your role

The Legal Support Centre's scope of work covers contract review and drafting (both customer and supplier contracts) as well as general legal support, including implementation of the company’s ethics and compliance program, legal knowledge management, disputes, and litigation, and corporate legal tasks.  

  • Initial duties will most likely pertain to supporting customer and supplier contract review, drafting, and negotiation.  
  • Other duties may include support for day-to-day legal tasks assigned by SLB’s geographic Legal Counsels;
  • The employee will also:
    • participate in Legal Department training and development initiatives and complete all assigned training
    • become familiar with and use Legal Department systems and tools and contribute to the legal knowledge management systems used by the company
    • support implementation of workflows, processes, procedures, practices, guidelines, playbooks, and templates.

About you

  • Ability to communicate effectively and interact with,  as well as support,  effective partnerships with management, peers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to proactively organize a heavy workload and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills and adaptability and a practical approach to problem-solving.
  • Cultural sensitivity, ability to compromise, and ability to work within a team

  • A business or financial background is helpful but not required.
