Job Summary
The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for the accurate administration of all HR actions using established transactions procedures and guidelines. This includes HR data reporting and maintenance in SAP. He/she must ensure all activities are performed in strict compliance to Schlumberger procedures, employment rules, manuals, policies and country legislation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the administration of HR actions using Standard Work Instructions (SWI) documentation.
- Performs SAP actions and other associated transactions such as hiring, promotion, transfer, suspension, termination, payments, deductions, etc., as required.
- Act as the “Gate Keeper” to ensure that the SAP actions, transactions, exemptions and other supporting documentation complies with internal procedures and policies regarding the master data updates to the system before processing.
- Coordinates closely with Payroll Analysts to ensure employees’ data impacting payroll such as variable compensation data with any associated calculations or deductions are efficiently and accurately captured and maintained in payroll system within established deadlines.
- Supports and assists in audits of the HR master database. Coordinates with relevant parties to resolve existing discrepancies and prevent potential new ones.
- Provide rapid, high quality and validated responses to all queries and request from employees, managers, HR functions as well as other functions
- Create a positive customer support experience through problem understanding, communicating promptly on progress and engaging customers with a courteous and professional service attitude
- Take ownership for queries and be responsible for case opening and closure (end-to-end and provides a first and final point-of-contact for the employee/manager initiating the query.
- Coordinates internally per defined procedures and uses HR knowledge
- management tools to respond with resolutions, quickly and accurately within the established service level agreements and KPIs.
- Delivers data analytics to create insight on employee queries and development of recommendations/action plans to improve overall employee support and satisfaction.
- Participates in the implementation/roll-out of any new campaigns, initiatives, policies etc. as part of global or local strategy.
- Frequently reviews and updates the Knowledge Base, Standard Work Instructions (SWI), internal procedures and guidelines
- Conducts research, analyzes data, provides ad-hoc reports, and presents feedback on assigned projects when required.
- Ensures compliance with the Data Privacy & Protection Guidelines and relevant legislation.
- Identifies and participates in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors or master’s degree in Human Resources, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or equivalent degree qualifications.
- 0 to 3 years’ experience in HR or Administration experience
- Strong knowledge in HR practices
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Excellent command of English required (verbal and written)
- Additional languages (e.g. Mandarin, French, Arabic, etc.) is highly desirable
