About the internship:
The successful candidate will join the Kuala Lumpur Legal Support Center (LSC) and, under the supervision of a Team Manager, will assist with the provision of legal assistance and advice in support of operations in SLB’s Asia and Middle East markets relevant to a global technology company with customers in the energy industry. The successful candidate will have a scope of work within customer contracts, supplier contacts, corporate entity management, or general legal and compliance matters. This is typically a 6-month training position that can mature into a position as a full-time employee.
Essential responsibilities & duties:
The LSC scope of work covers contract review and drafting (both customer and supplier contracts), management of Schlumberger's legal entities and branches in countries in which SLB operates, as well as general legal support, including implementation of SLB’s ethics and compliance program, legal knowledge management, and disputes and litigation. Initial duties would include support for the day-to-day legal and administrative tasks assigned by LSC Team Managers for one of these areas.
